Anthony Koeslag

Software Engineer
Anthony was Born in Cape Town, where he studied Electrical Engineering at the University of Cape Town. For his masters degree he specialised in medical image processing, the focus of his masters project was the automatic detection miliary TB in chest X-ray images.

His first job was as a consultant for a group of radiologists at the Christian Barnard Memorial Hospital, in the Cape Town CBD. Here he had the opportunity to use an MRI machine and other medical imaging equipment. Finishing this contract he was fortunate to be able to join the SALT project team.

In his spare time Anthony enjoys painting, scuba diving, hiking, swimming, movies and cocktails.
