Jian Swiegers

Jian studied mechanical engineering at Stellenbocsh University outside Cape Town. Halfway through his masters degree in structural engineering, he accepted a position at the University's Bureau for Mechanical Engineering. Four years later he moved into the fast moving consumer goods environment and worked at Langeberg Foods as Factory Engineer and Operational Manager.

Four years later he moved to Ceres Fruit Juices as Factory Manager, living with his family in this small town in the mountains that surround Cape Town. After three years in Ceres, he accepted the position on the SALT Project Team. During his sojurn in Ceres he completed and Hons in Business & Administration, a step towards an MBA from the University of Stellenbosch.
