Patrick Matshaya

Patrick Matshaya was born in Peddie in 1976. He attended his primary and high school at Vuyolwethu L.H Primary School and Ndabazandile S.S School respectively in Peddie. He studied at the University of Fort Hare and obtained B.Sc. (Physics and Chemistry) and B.Sc. Honours (Physics) in Alice. Patrick is busy doing his M.Sc. (Nuclear Physics) with the University of the Western Cape. He started his career as Laboratory Assistant at University of Fort Hare and became a Lecturer at Walter Sisulu University for Technology and Science in East London. His interest is in research and academia.

Patrick is married to a lovely and supportive woman, Zameka Cedi and in their marriage they blessed with two beautiful kids Lakhanya and Khanya.
