William Whittaker

William is born and bred Capetonian having attended school at Rondebosch Prep School, Rondebosch High, and Bishops. From there he went on to acheive a first class honours degree in physics at UCT, and to achieve a distinction for his masters in nuclear physics at the National Accelerator Centre.

After having completed his masters he has spent three years working in industry for Independent Online, Azisa and US-Traffic Corporation, as well as dabbling in his own business ventures, and is now developing the main interfaces for the telescope control system.

William also has a host of other interests which occupy his spare time, and plays double bass in the UCT orchestra, is a member of a yacht racing team, and flies gliders out at the Cape Gliding Club.
